Dear Claudia. I 1st visited Bohol in 2014 and we have been back to the island nearly every year since. We live in Manila so it is easy for us. I like to stay in a resort with security for peace of mind.

Dear Charlene, Thanks for your comment. We usually spend anywhere between 4-7 days on the island. Actually since this G.T post we have returned 4 times – we love it so much. My tip would be to take a baby carrier. There are few stroller friendly roads (especially if you are staying on the beach!). However, for your 10mth old if you are staying at a large resort there may be little pathways you can go for a walk with the baby on. Buy sea shoes for all the kids – just for peace of mind while they are paddling so they do not step on a stray sea anenome. If you can get a life vest for the 10mth and 2 year old since standard life vests on boats will usually be too big for your babies (if you are planning a boat trip). Have a great trip.

Hi Sarah, thank you for your feedback – that’s good to hear. I always hire babysitters through the resort or hotel. I like to find out how long they have been working for the hotel, and if they have children their own. I usually spend about 10minutes chatting with them first so I feel comfortable. Then we always swap numbers..
