I didn’t realise that it was so close to Paris either before I visited. It really is the perfect getaway with or without kids. And yes, you should definitely try kayaking along the Semoy river!

And the fact that this place is just a couple of hours away from Paris surprised me! Seems like a perfect nature retreat/weekend getaway with kids! It is interesting to know it is only 2 hours drive from Paris. I love horseback riding and kayaking. It is a great place for a weekend away during summers. I might go there to try the ziplining
